Sirens were heard at the Incirlik Air Base used by NATO in Adana Province, located in the southeast of the country, the Turkish state Anadolu Agency reported on Friday, as reported by France Presse.
“Sirens were heard at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey on Friday,” the agency said in its English edition, without specifying the time of the incident or providing other details.
The Incirlik Air Base of the Turkish Air Force is also very important to the United States, which has stationed over a thousand military personnel there, as well as dozens of tactical nuclear weapons, including B61 nuclear bombs.
According to Turkish media, sirens sounded in Adana around 03:25 for five minutes.

Two missiles have been destroyed so far in Turkish airspace since the start of the Middle East war.
The first ballistic missile launched by Iran that targeted Turkey was shot down last Wednesday, March 4.
NATO air defense systems in the eastern Mediterranean also shot down a ballistic missile launched from Iran that entered Turkish airspace on Monday.
