A resident of Norilsk will receive money from the marketplace for writing off a large amount for returning goods.
Rospotrebnadzor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory explained that the man ordered a spare part for his car. It cost 1063 rubles, delivery was free. At the point of delivery, the customer realized that the part would not fit his car., and refused the ransom. After that, 9,982 rubles were debited from his card.
The customer support service, where the buyer contacted, explained that the man “paid” for the return delivery of the goods of proper quality.
“The consumer informed the aggregator that he was not informed about this condition. After this, as the consumer noted, appropriate changes were made to the website regarding the terms of return delivery. When contacting specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor Office, the victim was provided with assistance in drawing up a statement of claim to the court,” the press service said.
In court, representatives of the marketplace were unable to prove that the consumer was informed about the return conditions when placing the order. As a result, the man will be returned 16,373 rubles: delivery amount, moral damages and fines. The court's decision has already entered into legal force.
