Andrzej Domański admitted directly on TVN24 that “the SAFE 0% program will definitely not be implemented.” proposed by Adam Glapiński and Karol Nawrocki. In the “Fakty po Faktach” program, the Minister of Finance and Economy referred to Tuesday's meeting with President Karol Nawrocki regarding the SAFE 0 percent program. Domański admitted that the atmosphere during it was “quite tense”.
— We know after yesterday's meeting, but probably even more so after today's conference of President Adam Glapiński, that there is no SAFE 0%. There is no real plan on how to modernize the Polish army using NBP money. This whole story is just an excuse for President Karol Nawrocki to veto the Act on Real SAFE – said the Minister of Finance and Economy.

As he emphasized, there is a ready law on the president's desk regarding the EU SAFE program, after signing it it will be possible to “immediately accelerate the process of modernization of the Polish army.” — We don't have time to wait with this huge effort to modernize the army. We see what is happening in the Middle East and Ukraine, he emphasized.

Domański also noted that he had not received an invitation from the president of the NBP to a “working meeting” regarding SAFE 0%. — This situation is a kind of blackmail. This is the story: if there is a law proposed by the president, there will be profits. If there is no law, President Glapiński will not generate these profits. (…) Whether the NBP makes a profit or not should depend on the whim of President Glapiński, he said.

He emphasized that there will certainly be no program such as SAFE 0%. in its current form. — The solution proposed by President Glapiński during today's conference, whose implementation tool is partly the act proposed by the president, involves costs. If we compare them to the costs of the European SAFE program, they may be even twice as high in terms of interest and costs that would be borne by the NBP and which will reduce its profits in the future, which should go to the state budget – he concluded.
