The course includes 12 thematic modules devoted to current types of Internet fraud: phishing, spoofing, deepfakes and other schemes. The materials were developed by cybersecurity experts taking into account the experience of the MTS Defender service, which blocked about 20 million unwanted calls in the Krasnoyarsk Territory last year alone. The time to identify such calls thanks to the updated AI model is on average 30 seconds.

After completing all blocks, users will be able to test their knowledge using a final test of 12 questions.

As Sergey Yegoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, noted, the company is investing significant resources in creating a safe digital space. The Defender service is now able to evaluate a conversation in real time and, if there is a threat, warn the subscriber by voice. In addition, owners of family subscriptions can set up alerts about suspicious calls to relatives.

The new educational course became part of the company’s comprehensive work to protect subscribers from scammers. Previously, MTS has already conducted educational events within the framework of the Alliance for the Protection of Children and the Generation M project.
