The scandal shaking the Organized Crime Brigade (BCCO) in Oradea came to light after the local press published information according to which two police officers (a woman and a man) were caught having explicit sexual acts in the Columbus club in the city center. The incident took place on the night of December 20, 2024, between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., and was captured by both the customers present in the premises and the surveillance cameras, the images constituting essential evidence in the file.

The prosecutor's office attached to the Bihor Court confirmed the sending of the two policemen to court for outrage against good morals, after the Bihoreanul publication requested an extract from the indictment.

In the official response, the prosecutors indicated that the two defendants, CAF and DCE, are “former police workers within BCCO Oradea”, but Bihor Police representatives claim that they remain active policemen, being made available to the inspectorate during the trial.

Sex and exhibitionism under the eyes of customers

According to the indictment issued on February 20, 2026, during the incident “the two committed explicit sexual acts, acts of sexual satisfaction, as well as acts of exhibitionism” in the presence of several people in the Columbus club.

The images captured by the surveillance cameras, together with the statements of the witnesses, constitute key evidence against the two policemen, clearly showing the unfolding of the facts in the area of the bar and how they were observed by the customers.

The scandal was amplified by the reaction of the local employees.

According to media reports, the bartender would have immediately removed the two from the premises, and the incident continued in the passage where the club is located, prompting the staff to call 112. This triggered a criminal investigation that led, a few months later, to the two being sent to court.

The file was registered at the Oradea Court last week, but, as of March 9, it is no longer visible on the court's portal, as the two policemen from the BCCO requested that the trial be heard without the public, a measure permitted by law to protect the parties involved and their image.

The Prosecutor's Office and the Bihor Police continue the investigation, and the trial will determine whether the two police officers will be sanctioned according to the criminal law and whether additional administrative measures will be imposed within the BCCO structure.
