As told at the institution “Rescuer” the incident occurred on March 9: “When visiting the icefall, a tourist broke her leg. The situation was complicated by the fact that it was impossible to get to the scene by ambulance. In this difficult situation, specialists from the Minusinsk Search and Rescue Department came to the rescue and had to carry an injured woman on a stretcher for more than two kilometers. Only when they reached a more passable section of the road, closer to the highway, were they able to hand her over to the doctors.”

In connection with this incident, rescuers reminded that when visiting any natural sites, it is important to be extremely careful, evaluate your strengths and, if possible, use the services of experienced guides.
