We know the full play-off schedule for the 2025-2026 season! With the end of the game between CFR Cluj and Dinamono further permutations can be made in the hierarchy. Transylvania won 2-0 in the last match of the regular season.

Craiova University finished in first place, followed by Rapid, U Cluj, CFR Cluj, Dinamo and FC Argeș.

Superliga play-off schedule, 2025-2026 season

It will be the 11th play-off edition in the Superliga, the first without FCSB! The champion will take the path of the play-out for the first time in history.

Stage 1: March 15-16

Stage 2: March 21-22

Stage 3: April 4-5

Stage 4: April 11-12

Stage 5: April 18-19

Stage 6: April 25-26

Stage 7: May 2-3

Stage 8: May 9-10

Stage 9: May 16-17

Stage 10: May 23-24

Play-off standings after halving points

  • 1. University of Craiova – 30 points

  • 2. Fast – 28 points

  • 3. Cluj University – 27 points

  • 4. CFR Cluj – 27 points (benefited from rounding)

  • 5. Dinamo – 26 points

  • 6. FC Argeș – 25 points

  • As in the previous season, the team ranked 1st, the champion of Romania, will go to the 1st preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League.

  • The winner of the Romanian Cup will participate in the 1st preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League.

  • The 2nd place in the Superliga will go to the 2nd preliminary round of the UEFA Conference League.

  • The 3rd place will contest a play-off with the winner of the play-out between the teams in the play-out (places 7 and 8), for a place in the same European competition.
