Most of the demobilized were actively involved in the production activities of collective and state farms.

On this day, tin mining was resumed in the village of Khingansk

There are currently only 15 tin producing companies in the world, two of which are located in Russia, one of them is the Khingan Mining and Processing Plant, owned by the company “Little Khingan Resources” LLC, located in the Jewish Autonomous Region. The plant, by the way, is the only site in the world where tin is produced from technogenic deposits. This unique enterprise with a designed ore processing capacity of 1 million tons was built from scratch in just a year.

The Khingan tin ore deposit was discovered and developed quite a long time ago, back in Soviet times. At that time, this site was one of the best in the country in terms of the quality of its resource base; however, in 2006, the Khinganolovo enterprise went bankrupt and ceased to exist. In 2017, the territory began a new successful stage of development. It is inextricably linked with the implementation of an investment project here for the construction of a mining and processing plant.
