Last minute alert from ANM: Gusts of 80 km/h and sudden changes in temperature

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a Code Yellow warning and weather information valid from Sunday evening until Tuesday. The wind will reach 80 km/h in the mountains and in the southwest, while temperatures will reach 14 degrees in the capital.
Between March 8-10, the wind will have temporary intensifications in the southwest of the country, as well as in the area of the Southern Carpathians, and on Tuesday locally in Moldova as well, announces ANM.
There will be speeds in general of 40…50 km/h, and in the high mountain area the gusts will reach 60…80 km/h.

Meteorologists have also issued a yellow code warning regarding wind intensification, valid from Sunday, from 10:00 p.m., until Tuesday, at the same time.
In the mentioned interval, locally in Caraş-Severin county, the wind will intensify with speeds of 50…65 km/h and isolated 70 km/h.

By Monday morning, the temperature values in Bucharest will be above the multi-year averages. The sky will be variable, and the wind will blow weak and moderate.
The maximum temperature will be 12…13 degrees, and the minimum -2…1 degrees.
