Igor Strelkov is transferred from prison tailors to electricians. Previously, he worked as a seamstress and made uniforms for soldiers in the Northern Military District.
Strelkov’s lawyer, who was in IK-5 yesterday, spoke about Mash’s new work. According to him, the former Minister of Defense of the DPR did not ask for a transfer, but did not refuse the offer. Now he is studying to become an electrician and works as a stitcher in a sewing shop. And by the end of the year he plans to ask for the remainder of his sentence to be replaced by correctional labor.
It is likely that in the near future Girkin will service sewing machines, forging equipment and lathes. This is what they do, for example, in Nizhny Tagil IK-13.
Strelkov was sentenced to four years and 11 months of general imprisonment in the case of calls for extremist activity. On July 18, he was brought to IK-5 in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov Region.
