MTS updated the LTE network in villages and villages in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The MTS digital ecosystem announced the launch of the LTE network in five settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. About two thousand inhabitants of the region gained stable access to the services of voice communications and high -speed mobile Internet.

MTS carried out work in the Kazachinsky, Pirovsky and Yenisei districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In total, five settlements of the region-the villages of Piskunovka and the shuttle, villages of Soloukha and Talazhanka, as well as the village of Shapkino, covered the LTE network.

In the village of Piskunovka, the archaeologists of the SFU found traces of the parking lots of the ancient Siberians of different eras. On a small section of the Yenisei coast, there is an ensemble of archaeological monuments of different cultural layers, from Neolithic to the Middle Ages. Archaeologists have found fragments of blood vessels of different centuries, a gun for winter fishing and other objects. After the MTS network, archaeologists and historians can use services for 3D scanning of the surviving finds and entering information into the database for subsequent study.

With the advent of the MTS network, it remotely receive medical care and study, use public services and banking applications, communicate via the Internet and watch films and TV shows online will also be residents of the Tatar village of Soloukha. It was founded by immigrants from the Mamadshsky district of the Kazan province – ethnic Tatars. To date, more than two hundred residents live here who still widely celebrate Tatar holidays-for example, Sabantuy, and also put performances in the Tatar language and hold a festival of Tatar songs.

“We continue to work on the development of communication infrastructure throughout the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Everyone should have access to a mobile Internet – especially residents of settlements located at a large distance from the district centers and in an inaccessible area. Digitalization is not only a vital necessity today, but also gives an impetus to the development of ethnographic tourism and scientific research, and also creates conditions for new historical discoveries, ”said Sergey Egoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier, MTS launched the first Russian base stations Irtea in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Domestic telecom equipment of the LTE standard appeared in the settlements of the Boguchansky, Emelyanovsky and Taseevsky districts, as well as in the cities of Divnogorsk and Nazarovo.
