“Last month, the enemy continued to attack peaceful cities and villages. Despite all the security challenges and wartime difficulties, DTEK specialists managed to fully or partially return electricity to residents of more than 1.4 thousand settlements and restore power supply to more than 1.8 million Ukrainian homes,” the report notes.
The largest volumes of updates were recorded in several regions. In particular, in the Odessa region, electricity was returned to 647.2 thousand families, in Donetsk – 584.1 thousand families.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region, where shelling intensified due to its proximity to the front line, in February it was possible to restore power supply to almost 346.3 thousand houses.
The capital and the Kyiv region also remain under attack. Despite this, in February, repair crews restored electricity to almost 227.2 thousand families in the region and 15.3 thousand families in Kyiv.
The company recalled that in January, DTEK energy companies, owned by businessman Rinat Akhmetov, restored power supplies to 4.5 million families whose homes were de-energized as a result of enemy attacks.
