The Krasnoyarsk City Hall has identified a company that will undertake a large-scale renovation of the park named after the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The work was entrusted to SportStroyMontazh LLC, Krasgorpark reported.
In 2026, the contractor will transform the front part of the recreation area. The plans include replacing the paving stones near the monument to Pavel Fedirko, laying new power supply networks, installing modern lighting and CCTV cameras. There will also be a new stage in the park, the design of which is inspired by the silhouette of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theater.
Work will continue in 2027. Specialists will set up a dog walking area, update street furniture and small architectural forms, and modernize sports areas. It is planned to plant about 130 trees and 450 shrubs. In addition, the pond will be transformed – the bowl and wooden decking will be restored. During the renovation, access to certain areas will be limited, but the park itself will remain open to visitors.
Let's add, SportStroyMontazh LLC received contracts for the improvement of other city recreation areas, including Sibstal Park, Chernyshevsky Square, and a square near the Kirovsky Palace of Culture.
