According to the announcement, Poland is to buy 400 AMRAMAM AMRAAM fighters with a range of up to 180 km and 16 guidance sections and other related equipment. The price estimated by the Pentagon is $ 1.3 billion.
Deputy Prime Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz also informed about the decision on the Portal X.
“Strategic cooperation of Poland and the US brings results-the latest air missiles will go to our air forces! The US Department of State has just agreed to buy 400 of the latest AIM-120D3 missiles by Poland. Their range reaches up to 180 kilometers. This is another step in the great modernization of the Polish armed forces,” said deputy prime minister.
