Bobul persuaded to have an abortion
Sandulesa was officially married several times. She gave birth to her first child very early.
“I was not 18 when I gave birth,” Sandules said in an interview published on the ZhVL YouTube channel in November 2021.
The child's father was a Ukrainian musician, whom she soon divorced.
One of the singer's husbands became Ukrainian artist Ivo Bobul. They lived together for 10 years. They had no children. In February 2026, Sandulesa admitted that Bobul in 1996 persuaded her to have an abortion.
“I was pregnant. This was at the end of 94. We arrived from America in December, and after a couple of months I said: “I’m pregnant, Ivo, what are we going to do?” He says: “Well, we just arrived, Lilya. Well, don’t.” What should I have done? This is my sin. That’s all. He didn’t want to,” Sandulesa said.
According to the singer, Bobul wanted to build a career.
“He wanted to be an artist. Why did he marry me? I was pregnant and, believe me, I wanted [ребенка] from the man I live with, whom I love. But Ivo, without any scandals, said: “Lilya, we’ve just gained momentum. Come on later. We’ll have everything.” But it hurts me a lot. But without him – how? Well, no way. Moreover, I wanted to help him. We sang together. So I went along with what he persuaded me to do. [сделать аборт]”, she explained.
Played at the casino
Bobul, in an interview with Ukrainian journalist, founder of the online publication “GORDON” Dmitry Gordon in January 2026, said that the artist played in a casino.
The singer did not deny this. In an interview with Ukrainian blogger Rostislav Kalatsinsky, she confirmed that she did indeed visit the casino when she was married to Bobul. According to the artist, for her it was a vacation, since she could not afford any other leisure time while married to Bobul.
“When I suggested to Ivo that we go to the sea or to a sanatorium, or, especially, after an operation, or to some resorts, he said: “No, I can’t.” And where is the rest? I didn’t have any rest,” Sandulesa explained.
The singer emphasized that she left her own money at the casino, and added that Bobul played with her.
“I worked and had the right to my rest. We went together,” she emphasized.
Late female happiness
In 2023, the singer secretly got married. She doesn’t talk about her husband, but says that right now she feels like a real woman.
“I’ve been married for three years, we met a long time ago on the phone, in instant messenger, on YouTube – he listened to my songs, we talked. At first – very rarely, and then we met – and just like that,” the singer admitted.
The artist added that she was grateful to God for meeting this man. Sandulesa added that her husband is “a little older than her.”
