Diogo Zivulic, after U Cluj – Oțelul 4-0: “We have to wake up”
The Croat Zivulic, who has been in Galați since 2023, spoke in a flash interview in almost perfect Romanian:
“This is the reality and if we don't wake up, it will be the same scenario as it was with Sepsis last year. There was pressure because we put pressure on ourselves and we wanted to stay as high as possible until the end, but that's the reality: we didn't deserve it in the last 5-6 stages and it was a tough defeat for us. We have the last game of the regular season and we have to win at home, otherwise it will be very difficult.
When it comes to play-out, nothing is easy. Everyone who has played in the play-outs knows that there is pressure and that the points are halved, which means a lot for the team's form. We are not in shape and we have to wake up together and try to win with Hermannstadt in front of our supporters.“
Joao Lameira reacted after the defeat: “A month or two ago we were playing the best football”
“I don't know what happened, we're going home angry. Even if we didn't make the play-offs, it's important to be as high as possible in the play-outs. We need to clear our minds and reset. I spoke the same way during the break, as I also spoke with UTA, where I returned. I have to watch the game and see where I went wrong.
A month or two ago we were playing the best football, and now what has been seen on the pitch, we are not the best or the strongest. We also lost a few players and we have to show that we are strong,” said Lameira in a flash interview for Digi Sport.
