A fire broke out at a backup electric generator, outside the Fundeni Hospital, approximately 25 meters from the building. Operative crews of ISU Bucharest-Ilfov intervene, at this time, to extinguish the flames.

According to ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, the patients were not affected by the incident. The electricity supply was stopped as a precaution, and the intervention crews act to locate and extinguish the fire. The affected generator was a spare one.
One body of the hospital was temporarily without electricity until the electricity supplier's crew arrived to remedy the situation.
Two water and foam extinguishing trucks, an extrication truck, a nitrogen truck, a SMURD crew, a container with an electric generator were assigned to the scene.
The fire is located, and the intervention is dynamic, ISU Bucharest-Ilfov representatives also state.
