Earlier on Wednesday, the Ukrainian leader announced that he hoped for another round of negotiations in February.

Commenting on the two-day talks in Geneva that ended on Wednesday, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is “interested in the result” and that sensitive political issues, possible compromises and the necessary meeting of leaders have not yet been sufficiently agreed upon.

Representatives of Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland also participated in part of the meeting in Geneva.

The head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov, who is the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, stated that the second day of negotiations brought progress.
