Carrefour is considering selling stores in Poland. A breakthrough decision is on the horizon

Sales in Poland decreased by 1.7%. in LFL (like-for-like) terms during the year, which the company explains by investing in a very competitive trading environment. Previously, in 2024, LFL sales decreased by 3%.

At a constant exchange rate, Carrefour's revenues in Poland in 2025 amounted to EUR 2.384 billion, which means a decrease of 2.3%. year to year. After taking into account current exchange rates, the decline was smaller and amounted to 0.8%.
Priorities in key markets
As part of the “Carrefour 2030” strategy, the group plans to significantly increase its market shares in key markets.
The goals include achieving 25 percent. shares in France, 20 percent in Brazil and strengthening the position on the Spanish market. Additionally, the company intends to continue its savings program, which assumes cost reductions by EUR 1 billion annually by 2030.
