Electricity prices fell in Ukraine.

On the second day after the increase in price caps, the market reacted by lowering the price.
🔻 On August 2, the BASE index on the spot market dropped to UAH 5,280.83/MWh (without VAT).
This is even lower than the weighted average price on August 1 — that is, after the restrictions were lifted, electricity even became cheaper.
The market remains balanced.
