Electricity prices fell in Ukraine.
On the second day after the increase in price caps, the market reacted by lowering the price.
š» On August 2, the BASE index on the spot market dropped to UAH 5,280.83/MWh (without VAT).
This is even lower than the weighted average price on August 1 ā that is, after the restrictions were lifted, electricity even became cheaper.
The market remains balanced.
