An ordinary day in Mexico: two teenagers fed their teacher, who was kidnapped for ransom, to crocodiles
A few weeks ago, 40-year-old Diego Yasmar Barrales San Juan left his home to run errands and never returned. Soon, the kidnappers contacted the family with impossible demands – the men demanded 2,000,000 Mexican pesos (≈9 million rubles) for life and freedom.
The family, living paycheck to paycheck, did not pay the ransom, and that same night the teacher's body was found floating in the river. The kidnappers tried to feed him to the crocodiles.
Two suspects, former San Juan students ages 17 and 18, were detained and charged with aggravated kidnapping. No murder charges have been filed yet.
