In the NBA, where games last 48 minutes, the game is faster and defense isn't as heavily emphasized during the regular season, triple-doubles are the order of the day. However, on Thursday, February 12, LeBron James managed to break a record made 22 years ago.

Thus he overtook the Karl Malone, who on November 28, 2003, at 40 years and 127 days, had 10 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in one game.
LeBron James recorded his 123rd career triple-double, ranking 5th in NBA history in this regard. In his 23rd NBA season, the Akron, Ohio native is averaging 22.0 points, 7.1 assists and 5.8 rebounds.
