Reasons: tightening of paperwork for obtaining certificates, a significant decrease in the number of supplies and a drop in demand due to prices that took into account the decrease in fish catch.
According to forecasts, during the New Year's rush, the numbers on price tags will increase by another two to three thousand. In a conversation with Mash, wholesalers warned that due to all this, a lot of counterfeits have appeared on the market. It has become unprofitable for fishermen to bother with supply logistics, and they are finding simpler and cheaper options.
Therefore, many people dilute caviar with mineral water to increase the weight of the jar. Because of this, the taste, color and shell of the eggs disappear. To avoid snatching this from the shelves, it is advised to look at the color – it should be bright, rich, and not transparent.
