Debit cards for children, in addition to functionality, also offer a wide selection of designs. Most banks offering accounts for the youngest allow for personalization of plastic, and the record holder has as many as 70 different designs. Choosing the right design can be more important for the child than the application itself.
Accounts for children are one of the few banking products that are constantly developing, and the offer of individual banks may differ significantly. New accounts are constantly appearing, and institutions introduce mobile applications adapted to the age of young customers.
It is in the case of “apps” that you can see the biggest differences between competitors. We recently wrote about what functions the youngest can use in Bankier.pl. This time we have x -rayed the offer of banks under a slightly less useful, but eye -catching account of the customer's finance – available images of the first debit card.
Alior Bank – 3 cards to choose from, but you have to pay
Those interested in an account for a child up to 13 years old can open an Alior Kids account at Alior Bank. The invoice is unconditionally free, just like the debit card attached to it. Alior Kids is a relatively new account on the market. The bank introduced them to its offer in November last year. A mobile application is attached to the account, which will allow, among others to send a request for pocket money or using a piggy bank. The application can be personalized. It is possible to choose the motif of the application, give your nickname, username setting.
In the basic variant, plastic is published with the image of Slime. This is a figure created by a bank whose task is to introduce a child into the world of finance. There are three non -standard images of children's cards – with the image of cats, squirrels or headphones. Choosing one of them means charging a one -off fee of PLN 10 for spending.
Bank Pekao – 16 options to start
Bank Pekao has an account in its offer also in a variant for the youngest customers. Children can use the account and debit card for PLN 0 per month. The bank promotes its offer for children, proposing the entire package of services – a card, a currency account, a savings account and an application. The latter is equipped with, among others, additional content such as an educational game.
At the time of applying to open the account, the image image is selected. There are sixteen different designs to choose from. Among them are drawing characters, images related to sport, cars, characters related to the Peopay Kids mobile application as well as gaming images. Edition of a card with a selected image is free.
BNP Paribas – ATM card and payment card
In the case of BNP Paribas Bank Polska, children who are 7 years old can use the account and cards. Basic fees, i.e. account keeping and using the card, are not charged. With a debit card, you can pay contactlessly and withdraw funds from ATMs. The parent has full control over transaction limits and can disable contactless operations. The mentioned card has six designs to choose from. These are cartoon motifs or with animals.
Credit Agricole record holder
Credit Agricole has prepared a package for those starting a relationship with the bank in the form of an account for you junior and casaver piggy bank, thanks to which the child can learn to save on the occasion of making a debit card transaction. The bank has not yet prepared an application for a child. However, the mobile application can be useful to parents, which with it can, for example, manage a child's card (block it or change the limits).
The Bank does not charge monthly fees for running an account for you and card support. Credit Agricole is a record holder in terms of the number of images of cards to choose from. Currently, the child can choose from as many as 70 designs. They are grouped into thematic groups such as Asia Style, Super Pets, Capibarta, Let's Play (Gaming images), I like (hobby), moto, animals, Pupilove, Poland and the world, naturally, zodiac, texts of texts, coloro and cinema.
In mBank, payment not only by card
MBank also has an offer for children. Holders who choose EKONTO Junior for their first account can use not only the card, but also a gadget as a fluorescent payment band. The fees are the same as at the above -mentioned competition, i.e. PLN 0 for an account and a debit card. MBank has prepared a mobile application for children, the appearance of which can be adapted by, among others earwig. An educational game is also available in the application.
mBank does not stand out significantly from Credit Agricole in the available images of debit cards. The child can choose a pattern from around 50 proposals, including a card designed by Julia Żugaj. In the pool there are images of cars, animals, passions, drawings, flavors and from the cool section.
PKO Bank Polski with a new application
Among the banks that have an account for a child with a debit card, to which you can choose the image of the card, is PKO Bank Polski. The account keeping fee is PLN 0, just like the one for using the card. PKO Bank Polski recently introduced a new mobile application for children, in which, among others Blik. It is also one of the few banks that allows children to pay with contactless phone.
There are fifteen options in the palette of images of debit cards. Among them pictures with animals, commission and drawing.
