❗️Norway recorded a jump in radiation on the border with Russia — The Independent Barents Observer
The jump was recorded in the points of Svanhovd and Viksjöfjell. Samples from two monitoring stations found traces of cesium-137, a radioactive isotope released during the decay of uranium-235. The origin of cesium-137 is unknown. The source of the radiation has not yet been identified.
The radioactive isotope could “come from afar,” the newspaper notes.
Previously, the isotope iodine-131 had already been detected in the air, just when Russia next door was testing the Burevestnik missile, which is called “Russian engine of nuclear war.”

“Emissions of radioactive isotopes, which are now regularly detected in Europe, indicate precisely this. Such an engine is quite suitable for weapons used in a nuclear war – nature will not be much worse from it,” noted media publications.
