Raul Opruț (left defender) and Andrei Mărginean (midfielder), who participated in the goal scored by Alberto Soro, gave statements at the end of the match Dinamo – Craiovascore 1-1, from round 26 of the Superliga.
Opruț and Mărginean were the ones who worked the phase of the goal scored by Soro in the 51st minute. The midfielder sent a perfect diagonal, and the defender crossed very nicely, from the first, with his left foot. At the end of the phase was Soro, who sent a lethal header.
Raul Opruț, after Dinamo – Craiova: “That's all we could do today”
“We only got one point, but we wanted the three points, but I think we annihilated each other. I'm sorry it wasn't a nicer game for the spectators. It's tension in a derby, everyone wanted the three points, especially as we were playing for first place and we have to get over that, because it will be the same in the play-offs.
We practiced the phase in training, not just this week. We practice the diagonals and in many matches we play like that, we have our routes and often they come out to us. I'm glad it was a nice cross and the goal was nice. They controlled the game but we had the better chance. They didn't have situations like the ones we had.
I know people wanted beautiful football, but that's all we got today. I think that Dinamo has regained its status from last year, the teams respect us more and we are on the right track. We have to get over the pressure. We had another chance in Arad and we need to have more confidence.
There are very few matches left, it depends on what we do in the next matches. I don't think about which teams will be in the play-offs”, said Opruț, at the mixed zone.
It's an ok result, so to speak. We were two good teams and we annihilated each other. The teams seemed very balanced to me. It was a hard-fought match, with many duels. I also said that only we can stand in our way. It was a bit of a disappointment because we had our chances. It was a beautiful diagonal, I saw Raul leave, I've done that many times.
No match is easy, anything can happen. We have to treat it as such and win every game. We have to give everything and win. If mister needs me at center back, that's where I'll play. I don't expect help from anyone, we have to do our job.
– Andrei Mărginean, Dinamo midfielder
