U Cluj announced, via the club's official website, that it has secured the services of Raji Ayomide, a 19-year-old Nigerian midfielder.
Raji Ayomide completed this summer's training camp in Austria with U Cluj, and now he has signed with the 10th place in the Superliga.

“Our club has secured the services of youngster Raji Ayomide (19 years old, Nigeria). The defensive midfielder trained with the University this summer, being part of the squad that traveled to the training camp in Austria.
The footballer can also play as a central defender. Raji has played for Jimmy Academy in Nigeria before, and last year he played in Israel, for Hapoel Petah Tikva B.
Both Raji Ayomide and striker Taiwo Quadri, who signed a contract with our club last week, were spotted by FC Universitatea Cluj representatives at a trial organized in Nigeria“.
U Cluj is to be taken over by Cristiano Bergodi
After the resignation of Ioan Ovidiu Sabău following the failure at home against the leader FC Botoșani, score 0-2, the team will be taken over by the Italian Cristiano Bergodi.
According to the information obtained by Gazeta Sporturilor, Cristiano Bergodi will sign a contract valid for two years, to be remunerated with 15,000 euros per month.
Bergodi has coached several teams in Romanian football over time: Sepsi, Craiova University, FC Voluntari, ASA Tg. Mureș, FCSB, Poli Iasi, CFR Cluj and FC National. He started his coaching career in Romania, at FC Nacional, and later he also coached in Italian football, Modena, Pescara and Brescia.
Bergodi managed to win the Romanian Cup twice, with Sepsi Sf. Gheorghe, and he also won two Supercups: one with Sepsi and one with Rapid in the 2006-2007 season.
