KSeF under fire. The Ministry of Finance answers to Krzysztof Bosak

KSeF. The Ministry of Finance's response to Krzysztof Bosak's doubts
The Ministry of Finance quickly reacted to these statements. The announcement emphasized that “information regarding the alleged access to KSeF by foreign companies is false“The ministry assures that the system was built and maintained by the state administration.”KSeF was built at the Ministry of Finance. All invoices are stored on the servers of the Ministry of Finance. The system's infrastructure is also managed by the ministry” – noted in the statement.

The Ministry points out that the entire system meets rigorous security standards required for systems of strategic importance to the state. According to the Ministry of Finance, the structure of KSeF is such that even security service operators do not have access to the content of the documents. “The security of information contained in invoices is guaranteed, among others, by: encryption using the so-called private key to which only the Ministry of Finance has access. Outside KSeF, decryption is impossible“- we read.
The highest level of protection
Additionally, the National e-Invoice System has been entered into the register of critical infrastructure, which means it is covered by the highest security standards. The resort emphasizes that the level of protection is constantly updated, and the risk of data being transferred outside Poland – as it is assured – does not exist.
