In Krasnoyarsk, a court sentenced a man for the murder of a schoolgirl in a pigsty

The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court announced the verdict in the case of the murder of a 17-year-old girl in a pigsty.

The tragedy occurred on November 23, 2024 in the village of Ushkanka, Uzhur district. The schoolgirl's body, bitten by pigs, was found in a cattle pen. A 41-year-old neighbor of the minor, who worked as a cattleman on an agricultural enterprise under the leadership of her father, came under suspicion.

It later turned out that the man wanted to take revenge on the schoolgirl’s father, since he often argued with him about work issues. Initially, he intended to destroy the cattle, but a girl suddenly appeared on his way. The defendant beat a schoolgirl, stole her phone and threw her neighbor to be eaten by pigs. Earlier, investigators also reported that the man abused a minor.

A criminal case was opened against the attacker under paragraphs. d,k part 2 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, paragraph a part 3 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The trial was considered with the participation of jurors; on January 26, 2026, they unanimously found the defendant guilty and not deserving of leniency.

Today the court announced the verdict, the man was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 23 years with restriction of freedom for 1 year 8 months to be served in a maximum security colony.
