Exchange of goalkeepers between two SuperLiga teams

FC Hermannstadt announced an exchange of goalkeepers with FC Argeș. Cătălin Căbuz goes to the Pitesti group, while David Lazar gets between the goals of the team from Sibiu.

“AFCHermannstadt and FCArgeș have reached an agreement regarding a definitive exchange of footballers. Thus, goalkeeper Cătălin Căbuz will be transferred to the Pitesti group, our club keeping percentages from the next transfer, and goalkeeper David Lazar has signed with FCH for a season and a half.
David is 34 years old and one of the most experienced footballers in the Superliga. The former Romanian international has on his CV teams such as Pandurii Tg.Jiu, FCBotoșani, Astra Giurgiu, Universitatea Craiova – with which he won the Romanian Super Cup in the 2021-2022 season, FCBuzău, FC Argeș and Vejle BK from Denmark.
David Lazar was the rightful starter this season in goal for FC Argeș. He ticked off 21 matches in the Superliga, 11 of them without conceding a goal”, reads the press release of the FC Hermannstadt club.
FC Argeș is in 4th place in the SuperLiga with 43 points, while FC Hermannstadt is in 15th place with only 17 points.
