“I would like to congratulate my players for the game performed. Especially in the second half. I was coming after two negative results. It was not an easy week for new managing. The boys had a fantastic attitude. I knew that a match against the FCSB is an opportunity to react positively and they really raised the level.
Too bad the arbitration manner was detestable this evening and shadowed their evolution. And the result. I think we had to receive a penalty at Christensen. From my point of view I had 100%penalty.
I would not like to make appreciation from this point of view. Having such arbitration manners do not help Romanian football. That's why we don't advance. I had a very good team in front, the champion team with international experience, but it seems that the books are made to become a champion. Very good, but come and take time in such a way, at least in the second half. The game fragmented a lot by the referee.
The VAR had to be noticed at the penalty phase, as notified in the first half. I am not clarified whether it was or not, in the end whether it had noticed there, it had to be notified.
It was a detestable arbitration and I am disappointed from this point of view. Our team deserves more and more respect. After such an arbitration, this gives me understanding who the books are made. I do not talk about the referee, but only about the arbitration manner, ”said Viorel Moldovan after the match in Giulești.
Rapid is at this moment in the last place in the play-off of the Superligi with 28 points accumulated. For Giulesti there is a traveling duel with Craiova University.
