Leo Grozavu (58 years old), the coach of FC Botoșani, gave statements at the end the match with Metaloglobusscore 3-0, from the 26th round of the Super League.

Botoșani beat in the championship after a break of 7 stages, and Grozavu admitted that his team had lost confidence. He is not very optimistic about the chances of entering the play-offs.

Leo Grozavu, after FC Botoșani – Metaloglobus: “If we dream too much, we end up disappointed”

“It was not an easy match. Metaloglobus has a young and dynamic team, they have nothing to lose. We had forgotten the taste of victory, so we have to enjoy it. When you lose your mood and confidence, it becomes difficult. I think we deserved to win.

I am satisfied with everyone. They are players who represent FC Botoșani, they are part of the squad and, when it's their turn, they have to prove it. Otherwise, some would leave and others would come.

I'm not the type to complain about playing every three days, I'd really like that, but in February it's harder. The teams come once or twice to Botoșani, but we are always on the road, we go down a lot in the country, it's not easy. We have to make points. If we do them, it will be fine, if not… no matter where you are, play-off or play-out.

We take each match individually, because if we dream too much, we end up disappointed. There are still four matches with strong teams: some want the play-off, others also need points. The championship is difficult. It takes a lot of work and a lot of sweat,” said Leo Grozavu, at Prima Sport.
