In the Ilansky district, a trailer guard decided to steal protected property

In the Ilansko-Nizhneingashsky municipal district, police detained a watchman suspected of stealing someone else's property.

At the end of November 2025, at 20 km of the Ilansky-Roslyaki highway, traffic police stopped a car, in the trailer of which they found stolen property worth over 50 thousand rubles.

It turned out that the crime was committed by a 66-year-old resident of Ilansk who had no previous convictions. Pensioner in the village Novonikolaevka guarded trailers with property deposited in one of the commercial organizations. Wanting to get rich, the watchman decided to steal part of the protected property and sell it to his friend.

Noticing suspicious activity and an unfamiliar car with a trailer, a vigilant resident of the village of Novonikolaevka reported this to the owner, who immediately contacted the police. Thanks to the timely intervention of law enforcement officers, the property was returned to the owner safe and sound, and the pensioner himself admitted his guilt and repented.

Investigators opened a criminal case under Art. “Theft”, the detainee was required to appear.
