American Democrats criticize the actions of the US ambassador to Poland

“The severing of diplomatic relations with an ally because of Trump's petty and undeserved campaign for the Nobel Peace Prize… basically only confirms the thesis about his 'transactional' and 'coercive attitude',” wrote the account of X Democrats on the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs.
What do Democratic representatives criticize?
What are Włodzimierz Czarzasty's allegations against Trump?
Who took the initiative to award Trump the Nobel Peace Prize?
What did Phil Gordon say about cutting ties?
This commented on the announcement by the US ambassador to Poland, Thomas Rose, of breaking off contacts with the Speaker of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty.
“If ambassadors from other countries cut off contacts with us because of alleged insults, we would not have many contacts left,” said Phil Gordon, a former adviser to US Vice President Kamala Harris. He noted in his post on the X platform that Rose's declaration came a week after Trump “discredited the service of Polish soldiers in Afghanistan.”
“It's hard to undermine an alliance as strong as the one between the U.S. and Poland, but it looks like this ambassador is determined to try,” added Gordon, who is now an expert at the Brookings Institution think tank.
Włodzimierz Czarzasty did not want to support the application to award Trump the Nobel Peace Prize
Czarzasty announced on Monday that he would not support the request to award Trump the Nobel Peace Prize. Such an initiative was put forward by the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, Mike Johnson, and the Speaker of the Knesset of the State of Israel, Amir Ochanna, and the Sejm received correspondence on this matter.
Czarzasty accused Trump of destabilizing international institutions through power politics and a transactional approach, which – in his opinion – violates international principles and law, e.g. by instrumental treatment of other territories, such as Greenland.
He also pointed to the controversy caused by Trump's words about the alleged minor role of allies in Afghanistan. This is about Trump's statement from the end of January, when the US president stated that America never needed NATO's help, and that the Alliance's troops stayed “a little behind” and “a little away from the front line” during the mission in Afghanistan.
These words sparked public outrage in NATO countries that sent their troops to Afghanistan.
