What does the memo about the Kushner family foundations suggest?

An FBI source describes the activities of the Orthodox Jewish movement Chabad-Lubavitch aimed at “drawing to its side” the Trump presidency. The organization was presented as a tool used by Vladimir Putin to control Russian-Jewish oligarchs. The person named was a member of Chabad and the chief rabbi of Russia, Berel Lazar, who is called Putin's rabbi due to his close ties with the Kremlin.

Chabad-Lubavitch is a Hasidic dynasty originating from 18th-century Russia, and at the same time one of the fastest growing Hasidic groups thanks to an extensive network of institutions in approximately 100 countries and missionary activities among Jews less closely associated with the religion. It is estimated that several percent of all Hasidim in the world are Chabadniks – that is, about 100,000. people – however, the number of people associated with the movement to varying degrees may reach up to a million.

The Epstein scandal. “He was supposed to be a captive Mossad agent”

Kushner was described in an FBI memo as a key Chabad supporter in Trump's inner circle. The note recalls that on the day Trump was elected president for the first time, Kushner and his wife Ivanka visited the grave of Rabbi Mendel Schneerson, the most important figure in the history of this movement.

The document also suggests the need to investigate the Kushner family's charitable foundations for money laundering and highlights their long-standing, close relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the source, Jeffrey Epstein was said to be a “captive Mossad agent.” The financier was allegedly close to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, under whose supervision he allegedly received espionage training.

The revealed e-mails confirm the close relationship between the two men. They show that Barak and his wife stayed overnight in Epstein's New York apartment many times, even after he served his prison sentence, among others. for persuading minors into prostitution and being included on the list of sex offenders in 2008.

“The files contain Epstein's emails to a close Trump associate.”

The correspondence concerned, among others: logistical issues, such as cleaning the apartment or installing the Apple TV system. Barak himself, although he admitted to knowing the financier, firmly denied involvement in any illegal activity.

The documents also mention the name of Epstein's lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, known for his pro-Israel views. According to the FBI memo, he was allegedly “captured by the Mossad” and claimed that if he were younger, he would have served in Israeli intelligence. It was Dershowitz who allegedly informed the prosecutor handling Epstein's case that Epstein “belonged to the intelligence community,” which – according to the source – resulted in a lenient sentence in 2008.

The files also include Epstein's emails to investor and close Trump associate Tom Barrack, now serving as U.S. ambassador to Turkey. In March 2016, Epstein wrote to him: “Send photos of you and the baby… to make me smile.” Although the context of this message remains unclear, it confirms that Epstein maintained close contacts with Trump's entourage during the campaign before his first term, emphasizes the Middle East Eye website.
