“Change of the Future” has begun at the educational center of the Federal Territory “Sirius”, which is traditionally carried out by the Melnichenko Foundation.

Among the shift participants are 20 guys from the cities of responsibility of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and SGK: Krasnoyarsk, Nazarovo, Sharypovo, Borodino and Minusinsk.

Each of them passed a selection process, for which the teenagers prepared presentations about personal achievements, and also wrote motivational letters in which they talked about what specialty they would choose in energy and coal mining enterprises, or talked about the professions of their parents working in these industries.

“I’m very glad that this time I’m not the only one from the city who took the shift,” Evgenia Guseva, a student of the 9th Profklass.FM from Sharypovo, shares her impressions. “I’m looking forward to new impressions, emotions, acquaintances, and personal achievements from my shift that will help me in the future.”

“This is the first time I’ve gone somewhere without my parents, so I’m a little worried,” admits Eva Nikulina, an eighth-grader from Borodino. “But at the same time, I feel complete delight from what is happening, and I think the emotions that I will receive during my shift will be unforgettable.”

In Sochi, schoolchildren will spend 10 days full of all sorts of activities: immersion in chemistry, physics and mathematics, preparation for the Unified State Exam and the Unified State Exam, career guidance events, thematic quizzes on the professions of the fuel and energy complex and the chemical industry, as well as many entertainment and sports events.
