In January 2026, a specialized cargo van and a passenger minibus were added to the fleet of the Boguchanskaya HPP. Both machines were selected taking into account the climatic conditions of the Lower Angara region and were prepared for work in areas equivalent to the Far North. The new equipment was accepted by specialists of the station's motor transport section in Krasnoyarsk and delivered to its destination.
The cargo van based on the KAMAZ vehicle is equipped with an isothermal body, which makes it possible to transport cargo necessary for the operation of hydroelectric power plants, including those sensitive to temperature changes, in any weather. With a carrying capacity of 18 tons and a van volume of 40 cubic meters, the truck is equipped with additional autonomous heaters and reinforced rims, which significantly increases its reliability and service life. The van's cabin is equipped with modern communications equipment and meets high standards of comfort for long-distance flights.
The passenger minibus is designed to transport station operational personnel and must be on duty around the clock. It will provide transportation for employees to various facilities throughout the territory of the hydroelectric power station – on the right and left banks of the Angara, from the crest of the concrete dam to the base of the rock-fill dam. The minibus is equipped with advanced safety systems that warn of lane departure, frontal collision or driver fatigue. Thanks to technical innovations, the bus will ensure the safety and comfort of operatives performing complex and responsible tasks.
With the renewal of the vehicle fleet, which numbers more than 60 units and includes special equipment, buses, trucks and cars, the Boguchanskaya HPP continues to ensure the reliable operation of its hydraulic structures and uninterrupted energy production for industrial enterprises and residents of the regions of Siberia. The motor transport department employs more than 70 employees, including 48 drivers and machine operators. In 2025, the ATU fleet was replenished with a snow and swamp-going vehicle, which, in any weather, delivers specialists to remote control points of hydraulic structures located in hard-to-reach areas.
