“I can't be that blind!”

Raul Rusescu, former FCSB striker, now GSP Live analyst, no longer has the same confidence in the ability of the red-blues to catch the play-off.

The former main man of the red-blue team is disappointed by the result in FCSB – CFR Cluj, a game lost without the right to appeal by the students of Elias Charalambous. The failure in stage #23 of the Superliga can cost the titular champion to miss the play-off.

VIDEO. Raul Rusescu says it in the premiere: “I can't be so blind!”

“For me it is unacceptable that FCSB are not in the play-offs, but at the same time I cannot be so blind. The play-offs are very far at the moment, considering how the team presents itself in the defensive phase. There are few points to recover, there are 7 stages left, but how the team presents itself in defense… it's cruel!

If you look at the standings, FCSB is at a greater distance from the first place than from Petrolul, which is in the second place. There were situations this season and last season when the red-blues played in the European cups, which is why they had few points in the first stages. But it was about the first stages, not 7 rounds before the end of the regular championship“, said Raul Rusescu, at GSP Live.

“There is no available coach that meets the requirements for FCSB”

Asked about a possible change of coach at FCSB, Raul Rusescu rejected the idea, reasoning that there is currently no free name capable of bringing results.

“A new coach? I disagree. There is no free technician who meets the requirements to train at FCSB and who also performs“, argued Raul Rusescu.

Things are going wrong, the situation needs to change starting from the daily life of the players, training, attitude, atmosphere, speech and so on
