Threatened with a lawsuit at FIFA, Wilhelm Loeper (27 years old), the midfielder who would not have intended to sign with Csikszereda, but only to give him a mandate to negotiate with his agent, decided to join the Ciucanian club.
A week ago, the Superliga team announced the transfer of the Swede, left free of contract after parting with Helsingborgs IF.
Loeper was in South Korea, where he was discussing a move to another club, when the Hargitians registered his contract and told him that they were waiting for him in the training camp in Antalya.
Wilhelm Loeper arrived at Miercurea Ciuc
The right wing midfielder decided to join the team prepared by Robert Ilyeș, after several days in which he communicated with the officials of the club from Miercurea Ciuc.
The “red-blacks” were vehement in their dialogue with the player who grew up at Djurgarden's academy, to whom they put in mind that they will turn to FIFA if he does not respect the contract he signed.
Wilhelm Loeper also played, over time, at Arameisk SIF and AFC Eskilstuna, from the lower leagues of his native country. He has so far scored 29 goals and 28 assists in 172 games in Sweden's top two divisions.
