How much a pilot wins in Romania. What expenses involve professional training

Behind the pilot job there are hours of intense training for crisis situations. Periodically, they are subjected to rigorous tests in simulators that faithfully reproduce the conditions of a real flight, to learn how to react in the most difficult times. Becoming a pilot involves an investment at the beginning, for specialized courses, but the subsequent rewards are significant.

To become a pilot in Romania, the costs start from 8,000 euros, but the investment can bring significant rewards: experienced pilots earn over 100,000 euros per year in airlines. Whether they fly for large operators or low-cost companies, Romanian aviators are appreciated and rewarded.

“We have over 1,000 Romanian employees. Romanian pilots are fantastic. We love them and we want to have as many”, says Andras Rado, a representative of an airline, quoted by Observer News, who filmed the toughest training in aviation.

The demand for professionals in the field continues to grow. Last year, the airports in Romania recorded a record of passengers – over 26 million. Estimates for 2025 show that a new threshold will be exceeded.

As it carries on the shoulders the responsibility of hundreds of lives in a flight, the pilots are evaluated every six months in simulators that show the most critical scenarios: technical faults, on board, forced landings.

“We have developed the scenarios based on monitoring the problems in our system. Annually we prepare around 500 pilots”, says Atilla Comrari, a flight instructor.

The stewardess job is coveted by many Romanian, even if the job is demanding and demands a lot of patience with passengers.

On the other hand, flight attendants pass through training sessions every three years, being trained to manage scenarios such as fires on board, forced landings or emergency evacuations. Everything to save lives in case of disaster. Although aviation accidents are rare, due to advanced technology, airlines are constantly investing in crew preparation.

“I have never had a very serious emergency, only minor medical incidents – faints or episodes of hyperventilation”, confesses Renata Kozma, experienced stewardess, according to Observer News.
