In the Krasnoyarsk Territory on January 18 and 19 in the territories of 54 cities and towns in 94 churches and temples 128 events were held dedicated to the Orthodox holiday of the Epiphany. More than 31 thousand people took part in them, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Law and order and local security were ensured by 543 regional police officers, 112 National Guardsmen, 108 representatives of people's squads, 27 employees of private security organizations and 31 Cossacks.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region said that were not allowed in places where mass religious events were held violations of public order.
