In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a hospital was flooded after poor quality repairs

In Kozulka, at the request of the prosecutor's office, shortcomings in the overhaul of the district hospital were eliminated. This was reported by the press service of the supervisory agency.

In November 2025, at the Kozul district hospital, during a major overhaul of the medical building, the renewed roof began to leak. Heavy rainfall and melting snow the day before flooded the first floor extension: water flowed down the walls into the emergency control room, the emergency department, the gynecological office and the sterilization room. Furniture, documents and equipment had to be urgently covered with film and moved to dry rooms.

“The prosecutor's office responded to the signal. The inspection revealed shortcomings in the work of the contractor Prestige-Stroy LLC, which performed work under the contract, and weak control on the part of the hospital administration – there was not enough engineering protection when repairing the roof,” law enforcement officers said.

Representations were made to the organizations, which forced them to quickly eliminate all the shortcomings: temporary drainage was organized, the waterproofness of the roof, walls and ceilings was ensured, and the seams were sealed.

The problem was resolved in a short time. Now there is no threat to patients and staff, medical care is provided without interruption, and the hospital is operating as normal.
