Now the neural network built into these cars learns from highly qualified drivers who have undergone strict selection and a course in emergency driving. Artificial intelligence changes their entire experience. Based on this data, Yandex is upgrading its autonomous cars.
Thanks to neural networks, cars predict the situation on the roads, react faster and avoid emergency situations. And in the simulator you can always check how they will react to tasks with an asterisk, including hypothetical ones: for example, a moose suddenly jumping onto the road.
The company has been testing autonomous vehicles since 2017. Now it is seen in Moscow, Innopolis and Sirius, and this year a truck without a driver even drove from the capital to Tula.
