In one of the cities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the licenses of four drivers with mental illness were taken away

16 January 18:07
At the request of the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court revoked the driver's licenses of four residents of Ilansky with mental illness.
During the inspection, it was found that the drivers had serious diagnoses: schizophrenia, vascular dementia and depressive disorder.
“All four are registered with psychiatrists, all with a license in their pocket and driving their own cars. The law in this area is clear: persons with such medical contraindications are prohibited from driving. Considering the high risks for all road users, the prosecutor filed claims to terminate the licenses. The court agreed with the arguments and revoked the rights. The decisions have entered into legal force, and now these citizens are deprived of the opportunity to drive,” the supervisory agency said.
