The chief police officer of the Krasnoyarsk Territory has a new deputy

The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Solovyov, introduced his new deputy to the regional police personnel – Alexey Shelkov. The internal service colonel previously held a leadership position in another region of Siberia.

Shelkov 44 years old, born in Astrakhan. He has two higher educations: in 2006 he graduated from the Russian Institute of Management with a degree in Jurisprudence, in 2020 he graduated from the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with a degree in State and Municipal Administration. After graduating from the Astrakhan Special Secondary Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he held positions of middle and senior command of internal affairs bodies, having passed the path from a criminal investigation officer to the deputy chief of police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Astrakhan region. From 2017 to 2021, Alexey Georgievich headed the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Omsk region, and from 2021 to 2025 he was deputy head of the Department.

Alexey Shelkov was awarded medals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “For Valor in Service”, “For Impeccable Service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, “For Distinction in Service” of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees, as well as the badge of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Honorary Officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”.

“Head of the regional headquarters emphasized that the appointed manager has sufficient management experience and a wide range of competencies that will allow him to confidently cope with official tasks. Alexander Solovyov set specific tasks for the new deputy and outlined areas that require increased attention,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
