
On January 8, the author of the Ukrainian culinary Instagram blog Inna Klyuchnik told how to prepare lush steamed dumplings with kefir.
The food blogger noted that steamed dumplings according to this recipe turn out like real airy buns: tender and very filling. The author of the recipe emphasized that such dumplings are usually prepared in the village when the whole family needs to be fed to the full, but the money for delicacies has run out.
For the test
- 350 g of kefir at room temperature with a fat content of 2.5%;
- 1 egg;
- 0.5 tsp. salt;
- 1 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- 1 tsp. soda;
- 500 g flour.
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients and knead into a thick but soft dough.
- Leave it on for 15 minutes.
- Form dumplings. You don't need to roll out the dough very thin.
- Place them on a steamer that is already hot and greased with vegetable oil.
- Cook for about seven minutes. If the dumplings are overcooked, they will be hard and rubbery.
