Igor Strelkov asked the court to release him from the colony. Through his lawyer, he filed a petition to change the sentence from imprisonment to forced labor. He says he has mastered the professions of a garment worker and an electrician and can work in the wild.
The representative of Strelkov/Girkin/Runov, Alexander Molokhov, sent a petition to the Kirovo-Chepetsk court. In it, he requested to replace the unserved part of the sentence (he served half, including the term in a pre-trial detention center) of his client in a general regime penal colony with a punishment not related to isolation from society.
