From January 9, fines for violating the rules for transporting children in vehicles will increase significantly in Russia.
So, for drivers (individuals) the fine will be 5,000 rubles instead of 3,000 rubles; for officials – 50,000 rubles instead of 25,000 rubles, for legal entities – 200,000 rubles instead of 100,000 rubles. Separate standards have been established for self-employed taxi drivers – they will be fined 50,000 rubles.
Let us remind you that children must be transported in a special car seat or other restraint device suitable for their height, weight and age.
According to traffic police statistics, in 2025, 5 minor passengers died on the roads of the Krasnoyarsk Territory; in 3 cases they were transported in violation of the rules. And since the beginning of this year, 5 children have already been injured in road accidents.
