Further steps of US troops in Venezuela. Marco Rubio announced what the plan is

The experience of Vietnam and later operations in the Middle East left a strong mark on the way the US conducts its policy. The current actions in Venezuela have shown that the US president wanted to act by surgical cutting, a way that, for example, Putin's Russia failed completely. However, the United States is not Russia and Venezuela is not Ukraine.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio does not anticipate further action in Venezuela and said that Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro has been captured by US forces and will face trial in the US, Republican Senator Mike Lee said on Saturday, citing his conversation with Rubio.
Lee wrote on the X platform that he spoke by phone with the US foreign minister, who told him that Maduro had been detained and military action taken by the US on Saturday were intended to protect those executing the arrest warrant. Maduro is scheduled to stand trial in a criminal case in the US.
“[Rubio] “I do not foresee any further action in Venezuela now that Maduro has been arrested by the US,” Lee added.
American authorities do not recognize Maduro as the rightful leader of Venezuela, believing that he rigged the last elections, and accuse him of leading a criminal group that smuggles drugs into the United States.
US surgical attack on Venezuela
According to Reuters witnesses and photos and videos circulating on social media, explosions, planes, helicopter flights and black smoke could be seen in Caracas from 2 a.m. (0600 GMT) for about 90 minutes.
Ten hours after the attack, it becomes clear that their only goal was to capture the president of Venezuela.
The United States has not intervened so directly in Latin America since the 1989 invasion of Panama to remove military leader Manuel Noriega from power.
