Mihai Stoica (60 years old), the president of the FCSB Board of Directors, confirmed that Denis Alibec (34 years old) will go with the rest of the team to the winter training camp in Antalya, since he could not find another commitment.

Returning to FCSB at the start of this season, Denis Alibec has failed to impress as he has been dealing with several medical issues.

The attacker decided to undergo surgery in December, but he informed the club only after the surgery was performed, being held responsible by Mihai Stoica.

“It wasn't without asking the club's consent, he spoke to the doctor and told him he was going to have an operation. The doctor told him to announce and he said 'Yes, I'm talking to the trainers'. He just spoke to the trainers after he had the operation.

From what he showed me, there was an overinfection there. He had to have an operation. That he didn't have the heart to give me a phone call or write to me: “Well, look, the doctor says to operate now”… I couldn't tell him “no!”.

That was the situation then, but there was no question of him leaving due to the fact that he had surgery and announced after. He was unhappy that he played too little and I said “Let's break up”, and he said “OK, I'm looking for a team”.

He hasn't found a team yet and he will go with us (no in camp) and stay with us, he has a contract until summerMihai Stoica declared at Prima Sport.

Since his return to FCSB, Denis Alibec has made only 13 appearances in all competitions, managing to score a goal in the Romanian Cup, from the penalty spot, in the 3-1 victory over Gloria Bistrița. The forward also had an assist in the 1-0 Europa League win with the Go Ahead Eagles.
